Actua specializes in manufacturing electric powered masts that have several advantages over scissor lifts and hydraulic or pneumatic telescoping booms and towers. The PositionIt’s key advantages are its compact retracted profile, portable versatility and clean aesthetically pleasing design. Additionally, a PositionIt can be used in all weather conditions and does not require bulky, noisy ancillary equipment.

PositionIt’s rugged stainless steel ribbon design has been proven in many demanding environments around the world including military security, surveillance, professional sporting events and high profile rock and roll touring shows. Actua’s versatile positioning devices are compact and quiet and can be mounted upright or inverted. The company, formerly known as RibbonLift, is based in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Model 3

As Actua’s most compact and portable PositionIt, the self-contained Model 3 is the most versatile positioning system in the industry. The Model 3 has been used in a wide range of applications from small props and lighting to military projects. Model 4

The PositionIt Model 4 is a multipurpose positioning system that has powerful capacity in a compact and portable size. The rugged Model 4 has been proven in demanding applications and environments including military surveillance and professional sport venues. The self-contained PositionIt Model 6 is a versatile, compact positioning system ideal for heavier applications. It has a standard extension of 20 ft and a maximum capacity of 275 lbs for upright applications and 450 lbs for inverted applications.
